Y-40® Freediver Padi
Padi Freediver course is your first step to become a Freediver. This coure allows to dive within -16 metres.
You will start in shallow water by becoming familiar with the freediving equipment learning breath techniques and doing dynamic and static freediving trials. The next steps will be the deep experiences in free immersion and constant weight.
This license certificates the abilities of: holding your breath in static apnea at least for 1’ 30’’, swimming in horizontal dynamic apnea reaching a minimum of 25 metres and to dive deep in constant weight from -10 to -16 metres (if you are under 18 years old your maximum depth will be -15 metres).
Once you have met the course requirements, you will obtain the Padi Freediver e-card which enables you to dive down to -16m. This digital certification, which you’ll find in the Padi App, is international and recognized all around the world.
You will learn:
Know freediving equipment and its correct use.
Practice breathing and relaxation techniques.
Feel confortable underwater.
Equalise water pressure on the ears.
Hold your breath in static apnea.
Swim with fins properly in dinamic apnea.
Descend in depth with fins in constant weight and pulling the rope in free immersion.
