Frequent asked questions
1. What is the difference between freediving and scuba diving?
In the freediving experience you hold your breath while in the underwater experience you breathe underwater from the tanks.
2. Who can participate?
It is a lesson for beginners and enthusiasts, intrigued by blue. No certification or previous experience is required.
3. What age can you start diving?
You can start from the age of 8 and there is no real limit, the important thing is that you are in good health.
4. Do I need a medical certificate?
Simply fill out the Medical Questionnaire. If there are affirmative answers, a medical certificate is requested.
5. Do I need to know how to swim?
Basic swimming knowledge is sufficient.
6. How long does it last?
85 minutes is the duration of all experiences.
7. What should I bring?
We provide the freediving or scuba equipment. You will only need to bring a swimsuit, bathrobe, pool slippers and lock for the locker.
8. How far in advance should I arrive?
We recommend arriving approximately 45 minutes before the dive to fill out the diver medical - Partecipant questionnaire and sign the regulations.
9. Are there private experiences?
You can book at the times proposed by Y-40® in a class of max 5 people or book a PRIVATE Y-40® instructor by choosing the date and time of the lesson.
