Y-40® offers scuba diving courses from basic levels up to instructor certifications.
Y-40® is the ideal diving school for scuba courses, for all levels. If you’re fascinated by the possibility of breathing underwater and scuba equipment, even without previous diving experience, Y-40® is the school for obtaining internationally recognized scuba certifications.
Through Padi scuba courses and personalized training, the Y-40® instructors will introduce you to the sea and breathing techniques, how to assemble the equipment, equalize pressure on the ears and manage your bouyancy, thanks to simple but detailed lessons in thermal water (32-34°C).
The Y-40® diving school, open year-round, prepares divers for sea experiences, encouraging learning through real dives at every lesson in a safe and controlled environment. The indoor underwater space makes Y-40® the best gym for focusing on exercises in the water, avoiding distractions due to temperature, swell or weather.
Thanks to the temperature (32-34°C) and clarity of the thermal water, along with platforms at different depths, lessons are conducted with gradual descents, respecting each individual’s abilities. The perfect conditions and Y-40® professionals allow learning during the scuba courses, whether beginners in the basic courses or experts in the advanced and deep trainer courses.
We begin with basic scuba courses, continuing with advanced courses that allow you to descend to depths or improve your underwater knowledge by diving in different environmental conditions and using special equipment.
You can take specialty courses to improve your buoyancy in the water, then learn how to take photographs or videos without disturbing marine life, resulting in vibrant images. Other specialty courses allow you to dive to -40 meters, either at night or with oxygen-enriched gas mixtures, commonly required for diving holidays.
Scuba diving courses can become team-building opportunities that engage colleagues and collaborators to improve interpersonal relationships, through experience in a unique environment that unites as only water can.
The diving school also welcomes children and teenagers, with Junior courses (10-14 years), who wish to dive with scuba tanks, breathing underwater they will enter a magical world!
