Prerequisites
Padi Open Water Diver certification required (or equivalent from another diving organization)
15 years old
Medical certificate of fitness for scuba diving
Y-40® Account: Each participant must have an account with:
- ID information and photo
- Certification information and photo, if already certified or an instructor

Open water dives in the sea or lake
To complete the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you can choose to carry out the final 2 dives either in the sea or in a lake. Trip prices vary depending on the location, season, and number of participants.
This cost is not included in the course price and must be paid separately, before the end of the lessons at Y-40®.
The approximate cost of the trip ranges from:
Lake € 25 – € 60
Sea Albarella € 140 – € 200
Sea Croatia € 350 – € 500
The price includes:
- Access to the lake / 2 dives at sea
- Tanks for students and instructor(s)
- Dives, transportation, food and accommodation for the instructor(s)
The price does not include:
- Rental of all scuba equipment. Y-40® does not provide rental of this equipment.
- Transportation, food and accommodation for the student(s).
e-Card certification
Once you have completed the course requirements, you will receive the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver e-card, which certifies you to dive up to -30m. This digital certification, available within the PADI App, is recognized worldwide.
