Intro
Night dive in the deep thermal waters of Y-40® every Friday night from 8:00 to 9:00 pm. Bring your flashlight and experience the thrill of discovering the depths of Y-40® with the lights off.
Available until 15th May 2026. Night dive then will star again from October 2026.
Ticket for certified divers and buddy system, or for students diving with their instructor. In fact, the special low-light condition allows for training or conducting Night Dive courses.
Diving is allowed throughout the pool in near total darkness. Due to the reduced light conditions, we urge instructors, students and certified divers to behave with caution according to the instructions of their respective didactics.
Maximum depth:-42.15 meters. Depth should be adjusted as indicated in the briefing.

Thermal water: 32-34°C (89.6-93.2°F)

Requirements
Requisites: it is mandatory to dive with at least one certified buddy if you have a certification, or with an instructor.
Minimum age: 8 years old
Personal Y-40® account: all diving participants are required to create an account on Y-40.com by entering their personal data, a photo of their identity document and signing the regulations.
Those who are already certified have to enter the data and photos of their dive certification.
Instructors have to complete the form by also entering their insurance data.
Medical certificate: not required.

This reservation is non-refundable. To book, advance payment is required.
The non-refundable prepaid ticket is a time-limited offer; once purchased, it is valid only for the date and time booked.
Since the ticket is not personal, it can be transferred to third parties up until check-in.
(Non-refundable prepaid rate) The non-refundable prepaid rate requires the balance of the full amount at the time of purchase. Once the purchase is made, the service is no longer refundable. A credit card is required to make the reservation, or bank transfer, within 24 hours upon confirmation of the reservation request by phone or email, as directed. The non-refundable prepaid rate is usable for booking stays and activities, subject to limited conditions and availability. Only web-based reservation, ensures the right to access the facility on the day and time indicated in the reservation. Reservations can be made at the facility subject to schedule availability and organizational needs. The reservation is not nominal, is non-refundable, and validity is limited to the dates and shifts booked. Once checked in, the service is nominal and use cannot be transferred to a third party. The non-refundable prepaid rate is valid for the stay and activity fee. No additional discounts or conventions apply to the nonrefundable prepaid rate. If you have a special convention of discounted rates please indicate it in your reservation. The convention, if any, will be applicable on the portion rate related to what is specified in the agreement.
(Cancellations) We remind you that in case of delays or cancellations, the amounts paid are not refundable. In compliance with what is specified in Art. 7 of Legislative Decree 185/99, there is no right of withdrawal for this presale, since it is, according to what is stated in paragraph b) of: provision of services related to leisure, for which the supplier undertakes to provide such services on a specific date or in a predetermined period. The Right of Withdrawal provided for in Articles 52 to 58 of the Consumer Code does not apply, right Art. 59 paragraph 1 letter n) of the same code; pursuant to Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament, the right of withdrawal within 14 days does not apply to hotel reservations. Therefore, there is no refund of the price of the service paid/spent/booked/used, in case of cancellation by the buyer. The service cannot be exchanged for money, refunded, or used to purchase other products, educational materials and merchandise. In case of no show (no-show on the date of arrival or at the time of the start of activities) will occur the loss of the entire amount paid and the cancellation of the reservation.
Diving at night is a mysterious and fascinating experience!
Ticket for night diving in Y-40® with certification and buddy system or for instructors diving with students, even without a patent during a night dive course.
By choosing this ticket, you will be able to dive for 45′ minutes, descending to the depths at Y-40®, by flashlight light only.
Y-40® is the safe underwater gym to conduct night diving experiences and courses.
If you have dived a site many times, you will find that the world is different at night. Night diving at Y-40® is fun and safe, perfect for training in the darkness of the underwater world after dark.
Discovering the sea at night. Diving to the sea after the preparation obtained by training in Y-40® will allow you to feel comfortable and you can discover the incredible variety of underwater night life by the light of your underwater flashlight.
In Y-40® you can practice underwater navigation at night, learning how to find landmarks to orient yourself by practicing entering the darkness of underwater caves.
If you are not yet certified to dive at night, your instructor will give you tips that you can immediately put into practice, training you to stay in touch with your buddy while avoiding losing your bearings.
With your dive buddy, instructor or students, you can dive in the safe environment of Y-40® and:
- observe the dive site by flashlight light;
- navigate at night underwater;
- descend and ascend in the dark;
- use your flashlight to communicate.
At Y-40® you can go underwater even without using a wetsuit, thanks to the deep hyperthermal saline-bromine-iodine source water at 32-34°C. Dive at night, from October to April, in the world’s deepest thermal pool, preparing for your next diving vacation.
In the 15 minutes prior to the start of the session, after attending the safety briefing, you can assemble the equipment, which you will find arranged on carts placed poolside.
For gradual progression, you can use Y-40® platforms with anchored tops at different depths (-1.3m, -5m, -6m, -8m, -10m, -12m, -15m, -42m), which you can use freely in compliance with teaching and exclusive occupied areas.
You can enter the world’s first artificial underwater caves designed for cave-diving exercises. These spaces will look entirely new in the light of a flashlight. They can be walked through without difficulty by beginners, although some passages require more expertise, particularly during night diving.
Only the most experienced can also access the submerged tunnel (10m long and 80 cm wide), or contour the 60-meter caving route.
All participants are required to bring their certification, except for 1st level course students if they dive with their instructor; and the use of a dive computer is mandatory, regardless of the depth reached.
Each participant is required to complete and sign the regulations online before arriving at Y-40®.
You will need to bring: mask, dive computer, flashlight (at least one for each pair), swimsuit, bathrobe, pool slippers and locker lock.
We provide the diving equipment: fins, jacket, tank, regulator.
You can rent with a deposit ID: mask, computer and flashlight (€ 5 per piece per session), while supplies last.
Wetsuit and cap are not required.
