Features of gift cards with Y-40® instructor
Useful gift
Anyone who receives a Y-40® gift card can freely choose from a variety of instructor-led activities to learn, improve, or get back into freediving (breath-hold diving) or scuba diving (diving with tanks).
To use multiple times
The Y-40® gift card is a prepaid card that can be used multiple times until the balance is depleted. All gift cards can be used to book any Y-40® instructor-led activity, with the gift card value deducted from the total cart amount.
Valid 365 days
The Y-40® gift card is delivered immediately to the account of the purchaser, and from that moment it is valid for one year. The option is now available to extend its validity by an additional 12 months.
Both digital
The Y-40® gift card is delivered immediately to the purchaser’s account. By accessing your account in the ‘Vouchers and Gift Cards’ section, you can copy the card code to send it online or print it to give it in person to the recipient.
And printed
At Y-40®, you can request a free printed version of the gift card, which will be placed in an envelope with the Y-40® logo where you can write the recipient’s name by hand. A fee applies only in case of shipping.

Where can I use my Y-40 gift card?
Gift card with a value to purchase activities open to multiple participants or private, for juniors (8-14 years) or adults (15+ years):
Freediving
- First experience for freediving and mermaid, in groups or with private instructor
- Junior first experience (8-14 years old): freediving, little mermaid
- Freediver session with Safety or Supervisor
- Freedive session with trainer
- Freedive courses: basic, advanced, master, instructor
- Workshop with tutors and champions
How to use it
When you purchase a Y-40® gift card, it’s immediately added to your personal account and is valid for one year from the date of purchase. If this isn’t enough time, it can be renewed by purchasing the extension service.
The recipient can use it multiple times until the credit runs out.
The Y-40® gift card code can be used in the cart before payment to deduct the value of the gift card from the booking total.
How to extend the validity
Procedure to extend the validity of your gift card:
- Log in to your personal account
- Purchase the validity extension
- Add the voucher code for the expiration extension to your cart
How the new expiration date works:
- After purchasing the extension, the gift card’s new expiration date will be the original expiration date plus the purchased extension period.
You can extend the gift card before it expires or up to 12 months after it expires. - The extension always starts from the original expiration date of the gift card, so if you buy it after the expiration date, the time already passed is not recovered.
- The extension can be purchased multiple times.
Digital gift card
If you purchase a Y-40® gift card on our website, it will be added to your personal account immediately. By going to the “Vouchers and Gift Cards” menu item, you can copy the code and send it via email or WhatsApp message to whoever you want, or print it out to deliver the gift card in person.
Printed gift card
If you’d like to hand over a physical Y-40® gift card (with a printed card and envelope), you can come to the pool. We’ll be happy to provide you with a printed envelope containing the gift card, on which you can write the name of the person you’re giving it to.
Printing is free.
